Flower City Soccer League

For the first time, Flower City Soccer has organized 3 select teams to train and compete through the winter in preparation for the 2011 summer travel season.

Our goal is to provide and advanced training opportunity to U11, U12, and U13 Flower City players with advanced talent and commitment to expanding their technical and tactical knowledge of the game. Players must demonstrate appropirate attitude, and behaviour in school, at rec league practices and games, at home, and at FCU practices and games. Participation on the team is conditioned academic effort and performance. We will enter tournaments where we will compete against Division 1 and Premier level teams.

This effort is very expensive. Most of our players cannot afford the thousands of dollars that such an effort costs the families of Premier level players who train and compete similarly. We feel we can compete with anyone on the pitch, but lack the funds to secure consistent indoor winter training facilities and competion.
